We did it!

The perfect wedding as our final wedding for two thousand and eight! What a year!

Colleen and Sean...

A lucky capture, seconds after the recessional.

Football fans..and players!

Left hand in...

Jump! Jump! (yes, I did)

Us with the happy newlyweds! They look fresher than us, and I'm pretty sure they did a lot more dancing...

Congratulations! How was the honeymoon?

...once this gallery is posted, it's nothing but cookies, shopping and album designs for me for an entire month!

Portrait Motherload

Kelly and Thomas had a daytime wedding! Oh, how I love this, when given the opportunity to use natural light. Yes, it can present it's own fair share of problems-- for instance, outdoor photography can be quite tricky in mid-day sunshine, or even the sharp contrast of sunset lighting. But what (worth doing) is not a challenge?

At Yankee Hall Plantation in Greenville, NC.

One flower girl, having a bit of fun playing under the veil.

Showtime!

First Kiss, my favorite take.

First dance, their own little world. They are ecstatically in love.

Threatening Thomas not to get her messy.

I considered doing this entire toss sequence here. First the groom misthrows, and no one dives for the garter. He does it again, same thing, garter on the floor. Kelly throws that bouquet like she means it, actually tossing it to one of the groomsmen! So funny. You can see all of those images when the gallery goes live..in a couple weeks.

This is the spot originally intended for the rained-out ceremony. Thomas spontaneously began his heart-felt vows to Kelly again, as I did these photos. It was so sweet!

We did a million portraits. My favorites are always of the couple, and I was thankful I got an additional HOUR after the end of the reception to work with them. We headed to the pier before the wildflowers, but I just can't show everything here. I did love this of Kelly:

My self-portrait of me and my new friends. :) Worth mentioning I'm a little camera-shy. I kind of spaz out when the lens is on me. *sigh*

...and the moment Kelly realized some of her family had stumbled upon our roadside shoot!

as I drove home I had to take this. It reminded me so much of Florida sunsets. What an amazing blessing it is to see this!

Wow! This is a lot of photos, and I have forgot the details. Gallery goes live soon at http://www.gphotography.instaproofs.com. Look for it soon!
